The greater portion of Queensland lias also benefited. Tiie coastal districts of New South Wales have so, far escaped, though present indications are that they are likely to participate. Sydney’s consumption of Water for mouths has been in excess of replenishments, and good' rains are anxiously awaited to refill the steadily depleting storage reservoirs.
