OLD MAN’S DEATH. By Telegraph—Special to Times. CAMBRIDGE, Tuesday. An old man named F. Cliamptaloup was found dead in his residence at Cambridge on Sunday, lie was last seen alive on Friday. A doctor had been attending the deceased, and an inquest is not necessary. PALMERSTON N., Monday.’ At the inquest on Walter Ernest Hall, whose dead body was found on Thursday in a local chemist simp where deceased was employed, evidence was given that deceased was addicted to taking drugs, and must have broken into the shop while under the influence of liquor. In decascd’s hand was a hypcrdormic syringe, and on the counter were three tubes which had previously contained a narcotic, also an empty bottle which had previously contained a narcotic. The coroner’s verdict was that death was duo to an overdose of a drug selfadministered while under the influence of liquor. DUNEDIN, Tuesday. At Mkldlemareh, Joan Leslie, aged 1G months, died yesterday from shock following drinking sheep dip accidentally left near the door of tier parents’ residence.
