POSTAL OFFICIAL CHARGED. By Telegraph.—Bruns Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. Martin Matthew Holland, postal official, aged 23, was charged with the theft of a postal package at Darfleld on May 31. He was remanded till Thursday, the chief detective stating that a number ol' other charges were to be laid.

The consulting engineer, Mr Templin, told the power board that wherever telegraph lines occupied one side of the road and private lines the other side the power line must displace the private lines.
