PRICE SLUMP PREDICTED. HUGE STOGKS HELD. Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn. NEW YORK, June 19. At Chicago a conference called by the governors of seven wheat-growing States is discussing what is declared to be a commercial crisis in the graingrowing industry. Five hundred representatives of farmers, bankers and industrialists are participating. The speakers declared that the farmers are facing the greatest price slump in 50 years with a surplus of 170,000,000 bushels on hand and another harvest almost begun.
