UNDER MEDICINAL CLAUSE. Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn. NEW,YORK, June 18. The offices of the French line; Compaigne Generate Transallanliquc, announces that the United Slates Government has permitted French vessels hereafter to bring into American ports sufficient wine to meet the wine ration requirements for the homeward, voyage. It is understood that Spanish and Italian, lines will shortly announce a similar concession. The Secretary of the Treasury, Mr A. Mellon, has instructed all American ports to permit foreign ships to carry wine rations under guise of medicinal iiquor.
