Dramatic Reyciw carries "• off the palm for superlative'illustrations, this week's issue showing an abundance of pictures dealing wtih all manner of sport and pastimes locally and overseas. The centre pages are devoted to a miscellany-of topical happenings in England and abroad, from news of, the Badminton championship in London to scenes at Zeebrugge mole. A particular feature is the series showing the unforgettable scenes at Soccer cup trial at Wembly Stadium, the most amazing, cup final, on-record, when 1000 casualties, were, recorded. Some graphic views are given of the dense crowds. The New Zealand Gun Club championship pigeon .shooting match at One Tree Hill covers an interesting page with snapshots of the competitors, and another specially attractive .page gives photographs of members of the Gonville (Wanganui) Men's and Ladies' Swimming Club. The Auckland University students' carnival Is represented in two pages of snapshots depicting some of their humourously-conceived designs, while the Wellington Amateur Operatic Society's forthcoming production of "The Toreador" is picturesquely set out wMi photographs, of principals.
