WAIKATO SHIPPING CO.

(To the Editor.) Sir, —As a shareholder in the Waikato Shipping Company, I have been waiting for the yearly balance-sheet, which should have been presented to (he shareholders a long time ago. I understand there has not been a directors’ meeting for some months. I would point out that this company have had nearly £40,000 of shareholders’ money. Has this all disappeared, and is. the present apathy of the management but a sample of what has taken place in the past? I think the shareholders ought to insist upon knowing what has led to the deplorable position i f the company and who is responsible for same. —I am, etc., SHAREHOLDER.
