One of the hvo victims of the tram accident in Upper Syinonds Street yesterday morning, Miss Maggie Wilson, died at the Auckland Hospital this afternoon. The deceased, who was a resident of Pacroa, fell from the platform of a Dominion Road tram and was rendered unconscious. CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. R, McDermott,, who was injured in a motor smash, was to-day reported to be in an unsatisfactory condition, and about noon he lapsed into unconsciousness. He has a broken left arm and severe wounds to the head.
