JUMPED FROM TRAM.
MOTHER AND DAUGHTER. LATTER SERIOUSLY INJURED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. AUCKLAND, Thursday. While a Dominion Road car was proceeding along the street at a fairly rapid pace between East Street and Grafton Bridge, two passengers got off from the front platform of the car, and one of them was severely injured. The two people were mother and daughter, Mrs and Miss Maggie Wilson, of Paeroa. Mr Wilson is a patient at the Huia private hospital, and it is understood his wife and daughter were on their way to visit him. Mrs Wilson was the first to leave the car, which the 'Conductor states was moving, and though she fell she was uninjured. Miss Wilson left the platform immediately afterwards, and was thrown violently to the ground. She. was taken to the general hospital by a passing motorist. Her injuries are to thef back and head.
