BOXING

MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP. LEWIS OUTPOINTS TODD. LONDON, Nov. 20. Lewis defeated Todd, on points, for the middleweight championship. The fighting was indecisive up lo the eleventh round, when Lewis established an advantage, though Todd, boxing on the defensive, countered well. The crowd took exception to Lewis using his Lead and continually resting on top of Todd.’s body. Todd came again toward the finish, and the last two rounds were fought at a great pace.

The verdict was unpopular, the majority of the spectators acclaiming, Todd the victor.
