The Otahuhu Trots were continued in fine weather. There is a large attendance. Results: —
Innovation Handicap.—Golflen Gate (limit), 1; De Why (198yds), 2; Mat Patch (96yds), 3. Scratched: Timbell. Won by four lengths. Time, 3.52 2-5.
Epsom Handicap.—Coal Light (60yds), 1; Sidelight (limit), 2; Boycott (12yds), 3. Scratched: Special Tracey. Won by one length. Time, 3.36 3-5. > ’ Franklin Handicap.—Hypo (36yds) 1, Red Star (36yd5),.2; Dick Dillo'n (24yds), 3. Coal Light was scratched. Won by’a length. Time, 4.45 3-5.
ASHHURST MEETING
ASHHURST, Wednesday.
The weather is fine for the Ash-hurst-Pohangina meeting, and there is a large attendance. Results:— Hack Hurdles, 11 miles. —Malingerer (9.11) 1; Waimatoa (10.2) 2, Ethopian (9.7) 3. Scratched: Kail, Sir Fanciful, Pacific Slope, Naughty, Silk Rei*n, Lead On, Lady Foa, Ignition. Won by three-quarters of a length. Time, ,2.46 3-5. j Pohangina Handicap. . Civilform (9.0), 1; Prince Hal (7.2), 2; Kikinl (7.9), 3. Scratched: Backsheesh, Nursing Sisjrr. Won by a length and a-half., Time, 1.13 4-5.

CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday.
The three-year-old pacer Acron, by Logan Pointer —Millie C, was sold to a Wellington sportsman at a price believed to ho a record for a New Zealand trotter or pacer. Acron will be trained by Mr J. J. Kennerly.
