COMPANIES’ OFFER ACCEPTED. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received September 2, 9.30 a.m. HALIFAX (Nova Scotia), Sep. 1. > Ten thousand Nova Scotia miners have accepted the wages offer by the British Empire Steel Corporation, thus ending a two weeks’ strike. Troops have been ordered to evacuate the properties.
