MT. MULLIGAN DISASTER

CAUSE OF THE EXPLOSION. FINDING OF THE COMMISSION. (United Press Association.) BRISBANE, December 3. The Mount Mulligan Commission has reported that, the cause of the explosion was the firing of an explosive in the lop level of the Mock. The explosive was not placed in a shot-hole, and was carried and stored underground in a careless manner, with no adequate safeguard to render the dust inocuous, as required by the regulations.
