TE KAHU'S SENTENCE
PETITION FOR CORAMUTATION. REPRIEVE TO BE ASKED FOR. TO ENABLE CASE TO BE REVIEWED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association). WELLINGTON, Saturday. A petition for the commutation of sentence of death on Hakaraia To Kahu has been, placed in the hands of a Member of Parliament. It is staled, as many more signatures are coming in, the Government will be asked to grant a reprieve in order that the matter may he reviewed.
