SCULLING
THE WORLD'S CHAMPIONSHIP. CONTEST IN THREE MONTHS. (Bv Telegraph.—Press Association.) BLENHEIM, Thursday. Richard Amst, this morning, deposited £25 with R. P. Furnes_s, proprietor of the Marlborough Express, covering Hadfield's deposit ■ for the world's sculling championship, to be rowed either on the YVanganui or the Wairau river. The champion prefers Wairau, but nothing is definitely fixed. Arnst starts training here immediately for the contest, which will lake place about three months' hence.
