DUBLIN BANKS ROBBED. OUTRAGES IN CORK. ' THREE EX-SERVICE MEN SHOT. i ■ . (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received May 22, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, May 20. Two ex-soldiers, father arid son, employed at the Cork military barracks, were seized in the street by armed men, taken to a secluded quarry and shot. The father, although grievously wounded, escaped and gave the alarm. A priest visited the son and administered Hie last rites before he died. At the same lime another ex-sorvicc man employed at the barracks was kidnapped and shot. He is now in hospital. Two Dublin branches of the Ulster and Belfast Banks were raided by armed men, who drove the staffs at the revolvers’ point to the inner rooms. They then took as much money as they could conveniently carry.
