WATERSIDES DISPUTE
EMPLOYERS ASK ASSURANCES. MEN'S REPLY THIS WEEK By Telegraph.—Press Association. WELLINGTON, Saturday. A conference was held to-day between the representatives of tin- employers and Waterside Woikers Federation. The employers asked lhe Federation for assurance thai work on the waterfronl will in future I"' carried out withoul interruption, and in ac cordance with the full terms of lhe agreement The Federation's reply is expected early next week. Thi' Gas Company now has only a few days' supply of coal, ami the pressure will be reduced from Monday.
