GENERAL STRIKE FEAREB MEN'S DEMANDS REFUSED. TONK STILL DISTURBED. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Asan.) Received Febru»ry 28, 11.25 a.m. DELHI, February 27. Lucknow reports that the traffic and running staffs of the Oudh-Rehilkhand railway have struck, and an extension of the trouble is expected. The Government has refused the rallwaymen's demand for advanced pay. Urgent efforts arc being made to avoid a general slrike, which ie seemingly inevitable to-morrow. The latest official report from Tons states that disturbing features continue. *^
