The Board of Cricket Control met at Lords and decided that the forthcoming test matches shall commence at 11.30 on the first day, and at 11 subsequently. Stumps are to be drawn at 6.30. The Australians versus Counties matches will commence at 12 the first day, subsequently at 11.30, ending at six the last day, The appointment of a committee to select the test players was deferred. Glamorganshire has been raised to the status of a first-class county.
