It is said 1 that the President believes that the recent developments at Geneva may make the League more acceptable to the Senate, and thinks that the mild rcsorvationists will be influenced by the interpretation that Article X. does not bind the League members to guarantee other members' territorial integrity. Also by Denmark’s decision not to lend troops to the League until the Danish Parliament has approved.
