Toowoomba, was concluded to-day, England winning by an innings and 119 runs. England declared the innings closed with nine wickets down for 208. Toowoomba made 02 in the first innings and 27 in the second. In the first innings Waddingham took seven wickets for 29 and in the second Parkin took five wickets for live runs, and Fender two for seven. M.S.W. v. SOUTH AUSTRALIA. THE MATcTTaBANDONED. (United Press Association.) SYDNEY, Dec. 8. The cricket match New South Wales versus South Australia tiad to be abandoned. The vviukcl is under water, and play would be impossible within two days, even if the rain ceased, which is very remote.
