AT THE STRATFORD ELECTION.
A PETITION LODGED
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) STRATFORD, Monday.
A petition was lodged to-day against the return of Mr Masters as member for Stratford, on the grounds of certain alleged irregularities prior to and on the polling day. Mr Hine has now placed his resignation as Minister of Internal Affairs "in the Premier's hands.
