JHVIIV3Y CLA33Y’S RECORD. In view of the coming boxing contest in Hamilton between Jimmy Clabby and J. Tracey, on February 12, something of the record of the great American will be of interest to the many supporters of the pastime in these parts. Clabby was born at Torwick, Conn, U.S.A., on July 14th, 1890, and started his boxing career in 1906. His height is oft 9in, and bo tips the beam round about list 21b. The record of his principal fights in Australia jirior to coming to New Zealand is as follows:—1912 v. Dave Smith, 20 rounds, drawn; 1913 v. Jeff Smith, 20 rounds, lost; 1914 v. Eddie McGoorty, won on foul, 8 rounds; 1914 v. Dave Smith, won knock out, 1 round; 1915 v. Lcs Darcy, 20 rounds, lost; 1916 v. Fitz Holland, won on knock out, 6 rounds; 1919 v, G. Cook, 20 rounds, won.
