PEACE AMNESTIES
TO SOUTH AFRICAN REBELS. CAPETOWN. January 13. ’Peace having heen -formally established, proclamations ’have 'been issued 'bringing the amnesty to '.rebels into operation. The amnesty 'has, however, been virtually in force for some time. ’General Smuts is also appealing to the people of the Union to extend their charity to the Austrians.
