The Soviet victorf over Admiral Kolchak is due to the support of the Siberian peasants, and the wholesale desertion of Kolchak’s troops. The wireless message docs not mention Kolchk’s capture. It says that General Dcniken’s defeat was dut to the Red cavalry, created in order to answer General Mamontofl ’s raid. The exploits of the cavalry under Generals Budenny and Dumcnko will ever be famous in military annals.
