DAVIS CUP CONTEST
THE SELECTED CONTESTANTS
(United Press Association.) Reeeived-January 15, 5.5 p.m. SYDNEY, January 15,
Brookes, Patterson, and Anderson have been chosen to represent Australasia in the Davis Cup contest, and Kingscote, Lowe and Beamish will represent the British Isles. The weather has cleared and is hot. To-morrow the first two rounds of the singles will be played, Patterson meeting Lowe, and Anderson meeting Kingscote. On Saturday doubles will be played, Brookes and Patterson playing Kingscote and Beamish. The finals in the singles will be decided on Monday.

The weather is fine, the tennis courts are in excellent trim and fast, and the teams are at the top of their form.
