Mr Holman, in announcing Mr Graham’s resignation, paid a high tribute on behalf of himself and his colleagues to Mr Grahame’s integrity and veracity in public questions. Mr Holman added, “Suspicions were aroused against him; but those who know him, best know that sucli suspicions are groundless. Unfortunately the suspicion cannot he allayed by legal proof, owing to Georgeson’s illness for many months, and perhaps under these circumstances u was better that Mr Graha.me should resigh. ’ ’
