THE VICTORY LOAN
AMOUNT INCREASED TO £8,800,000,
FURTHER SUMS TO COME
(By Telegraph —Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday.
The Minister for Finance stated today that the amount raised for the New Zealand Victory Loan 'had been increased to £8,800,000, while there are other considerable amounts to come in under the compulsory clauses. Even although these do not make up the whole of the loan, It is nevcrtwlesa gi.aisntccJ as perfectly safe.
