FIFTH AUSTRALIAN DIVISION. CAPTAIN ELMS' BOOK. MARSHAL KOCH'S EI'LOGISM. (Australian and N.Z. cable Assn.) LONDON, Dec. IS. The story of Captain A. D. Ellis, of tin; 29th Battalion, is to be published in January by Hodder and Sloughton. The story'deals witli tin- Fifth Australian Division, and' runs into 400 pages, in addition to appendices recording the Division's details and the Division's seven Victoria Crosses, oilier honours and awards, mentioned in despatches, and deaths. The. profits on the sale of the book will be handed to the dependants of deceased soldiers. Marshal Koch contributes a foreword, and says: "In the. long and bitter struggle against barbarism in which the Allied nations displayed the finest soldierly qualities the people of Australia won for themselves a place of honour by their undeniable energy, their effort calling forth strong contingents of daring and valiant men. Australia brought to the common cause aid Ibal will make a mark in the history of the war, and the Australian divisions won for themselves glory beyond dispute in the decisive battles thai secured victory."
