THEATRE ROYAL. A GIANT DOUBLE BILL. To-night's giant quality-wita-quantity bill is one of superlative merit, and the two feature dramas to be submitted are as widely divergent in every way as are the poles. An American actress of reputation Juariita Hansen, together with Koll and Dili, two of the most popular vaudeville stars in the United States, will show in "Glory," a delightful "Metro" play that is classed as one ot the finest productions yet submitted. The second stellar feature is the popular favourite and widely-known screen success, Rex Beach's "The Barrier," that virile and vigorous play of the Lone North Land, in which Big "Mich" Lewis, as " "Poleon," is so well remembered. "The Barrier," for which prices of admission have always been raised, will on this occasion be shown for the first time at ordinary prices. The popular Royal Orchestra will be strongly in evidence. After 1 p.m., seats may he reserved at the theatre or over 'phone 580.

EVERYBODY'S. OPENS TO-NIGHT. The overture, "Petit Chapeau Rouge," will be played at 7.45 sharp by Everybody's orchestra in the newtheatre. As the seating accommodation is limited to ,500* patrons are advised to be early to avoid disappointment. A special programme is being provided, which may be described as a .veritable picture feast." A splendid item will be Paramount's "In Pursuit of Polly," starring lovely Billie Burke. It is a delightful play, full of romance, mirth and.joy, and conspicuous for that reserve and refinement from which the dainty leading lady is inseparable. Roscoe Arbuckle, aectionately known as "Fatty," will appear in his first Paramount super comedy, "The Cook," a picture already famous. Arbuckle is the highest salaried funmaker in the world, and the present production is : one of several to be released at enormous expense. There will also be another great star picture, but the name will not be revealed until tonight; it is being reserved as a delightful surprise, and appropriate music will be provided. Prices are: Front, stalls 6d, back stalls Is Id. "MICKEY" ON MONDAY. Hamilton is fortunate in getting Leo de Chateau's world-famous picture attraction, "Mickey," immediately after the Auckland season of three weeks at two theatres, and unfortunate in that, owing to railway dislocation, the astonishing film can be shown only once here. viz.. on Monday niszht. "Mickey." Mack Sonnett's indelible contribution to screen history, is admitted on all sides to be not only the finest photo-play ever made, but it is also the Greatest attendance inducer to date. The difficulty when "Mickey" screens is to find seats for" the vast numbers applying for Hundreds were turned away nightly at Auckland, so that intending natrons who desire to make sure of seeing the grent picture should reserve at Paul's. The song, "Mickey." which was inspired by the picture, will be sung bv Mr Percy Corke and an augmented orchestra will supply special music. KING'S THEATRE. SID. CHAPLIN AND TALMADGE. Constance Tahnadge, who made such a hit 12 months ago in "Scandal," shows this afternoon and to-night at the head of a very fine double star programme in her biggest success, "Up the Road with Sallie," produced by the famous fnm "Select," in "Select's" perfect stylo. Constance Talmadge is regarded as the most piquant—the sauciest of screen players—a girl who has the knack of being able to do the most dai ing things without giving even a suggestion of offence. In "Sallie ' she jumps into a bed where a man is sleeping, but jumps out again even more quickly in a way that is her own. The play has a double love interest and ends delightfully. The second star is Syd Chaplin i;-. his farce, "The Springtime. Feeling." A splendid set of subjects includes "Stray Shots in the Lone Star State," a magnificent travel pictun?; ''Be Sure You're Right," a "Cub" comedy; and the ever-welcome Pnlho Gazette. Pleasing appropriate music bv the King's Orchestra will accompany the unfoldings. Seats may ho reserved at Paul's until 1 p.m., and after that hour at Theatre Royal.
