Y.M.C.A.

CONCERT AND GYMNASTIC DISPLAY The official opening of the Cambridge branch of the Y.M.C.A. for the l'.ilu season, took place last night, when a concert and gymnastic display was given in the Town Hall. The programme was much enjoyed by a audience. It included exhibitions of boxing and wrestling and blindfold boxing and wrestling by the Cambridge boys, and Swedish drill, boxing, jujitsu, parallel bar work, wrestling, Roman rings, military horse vaulting, mat work, tumbling and pyramids aril ladder work by the Auckland Y.M.G.A.; comic songs by Sergeant Dobson, and recitations by Mr C. 11. Hargreaves. During the evening interesting addresses were given by Mr McKen&le and Mr J. A. Young, M.P. The singing of the National Anthem brought a very enjoyable entertainment to a close.
