SCHOOL COMMITTEES

Ohaupo.—Messrs Cowley, Gillett, Graham, Kemp, Malcolm, Sage, Taylor. Whatawhata.—Only eight householders attended. Mr Simcock presided 4 and the following committee was chosen: —Messrs D. Simcock (chairman), C. Carhnson (secretary), A. S. Lindsay, L. C. Limmer, and A. Livingstone.

Maraetai. Messrs E. Couldney (chairman), J. H. Webb (treasurer), G. Town, W. G. Duder, C. AV. Stevens. Kihikihi.—Messrs McGhic (chairrr>an), O'Brien, Verner, Sutherland, Hellier and Mrs Lorimer.

Kakepuku.—Messrs Corboy (chair, man), McVery, Webster, Harris, Fear. Mangapiko.—Messrs Liiton (chairman), Woolston, Johnson, Mills, Hockenhnll.

Pateraugi.—Messrs W. Macky (chairman), Macky, Germann, Shaw, Hancock.

Ngahinepouri - Tiihikaramea.— There was only a limited attendance. Mr J. J. Ryburn occupied the chair, and the report presented showed an income of £l9 18s 2d, which included voluntary contributions of £'4 10s. The expenditure was £l3 7s 6d, leaving a balance in hand of £6 10s Bd. In June last the number on the roll was 22. The present number is 30, with an average attendance of 26. General satisfaction was expressed at the work being done by the teacher, Mr Bruford, under very adverse circumstances. ' The following comrritte was elected for the coming year-—Messrs S. Reid (treasurer). J. J. Ryburn (chairman), W. Gore, E. S. Ryburn and N. Reid. Koroinatun.—There was a poor attendance. The chairman read a report of the year's work, which was most satisfactory. Considerable improvements had been done. The finances are in a strong condition, there being a credit balance of about £23. The following committee was elected:— Messrs C. Ward (chairman), Murray, Harman, Barrett and E. S. Masters (secretary and treasurer).
