A SUCCESSFUL RAID.

(Australian and N.Z. and Reuter.) Received Dec. 13, 10.30 a.m. LONDON, Dec. 12. Sir Douglas Haig reports that we made a successful raid last night in the neighbourhood of Pontru, north-west of St. Quentin. We repulsed a local attack north of La Vacqerire. NAVAL AIRMEN ACTIVE. (Australian and N.Z. and Reuter.) Received December 13, 10.30 a.m. LONDON, December 12. The Admiralty reports that our naval aircraft on Monday night dropped many tons of bombs on Mostacker aero, drome and Bruges docks. The results at the former were difficult to observe, but a fire was started at the latter. All the machines returned.
