HOSPITAL SHIP SUNK

TORPEDOED WITHOUT WARNING. 31 LOST—I2 MISSING. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received LONDON, March 27. The hospital ship Asturias (12,000 tons) was torpedoed and sunk without warning. Thirty-one were lost and 12 are missing. The Asturias belonged to the Royal Mail Line. She was built in 1908, and had a speed of 16J knots.
