CHRISTMAS COMFORTS

OPEN-AIR CONCERT. The Frankton Municipal Band will play on Sunday afternoon at the rotunda on Ferry Bank. The programme to he presented is an excellent one, and given fine weather the afternoon by the river side should be very enjoyable. A collection will be taken up by the ambulance brigade in aid of the Christmas Comforts Fund. The programme will be as follows: March, "Fallen Heroes" (Wallace); Kyrie and Gloria (Mozart): cornet solo, "Lost Chord" (soloist, H. Salmon); selection, "Pirates of Penzance" (A. Sullivan); euphonium solo, "Hope and Glory," soloist, J. Taylor (Elgar); concert waltz, "Blue Danube" (Strauss); quartette, "Tanhauser," Messrs Salmon, Scott, Morrison and Taylor (Wagner); march, "Guarde de Corps"; "God Save the King." A verse of the anthem will be played at opening and close of programme, and the public are requested to join in the singing.
