Received July 28, 11 p.m. LoNDo.X, July 28. Corespondents at British hcadquar-\<-r> give details of die rapture of positions at Pozieres. The Territorials eo-npcraliiii!' with the Anzacs had to take positions of greal difficulty, but showed the iiimosl dash and staunchness, clearing the Germans out of the west of the village whilst the Anzacs were ail irking the south-east. The ground \v;i.> with enemy trenches and dotted with stronglvfortilied machine gun posts. It, was also commanded from the trenches before Pozieres and Hie high ground above Thiepval. The Territorials made a lot id'ground on tin' first night, and afterwards continually forged ahead, rushing trenches and attacking machine gun they effected a junction with the Anzacs at the [op of the village mi Tuesday evening. The British are now well established no tie' line bi which the second main push, begun on the 1 ith inst., was directed. Evidence i> accumulating that the ennny has concentrated great quantities of guns and troops to oppose the next British move.
