AUSTRALIAN WAR LOAN
PROSPECTUS ISSUED. MELBOURNE, July 21. The prospectus of an Australian war loan has been issued. The subscription list closes on August 31. Bonds will be issued in denominations of £lO, £IOO, £SOO, and £IOOO, payable to bearer, and will be repaid at par on December 15, 192.5. Mr Fisher, in moving the second reading of the War Loan Bill, estimated that three-quarters of the loan would lie snent in Australia.
