A CORRECTION. WELLINGTON, Thursday. Casualty List No. 71 telegraphed on June 17th contained the names of the following as died of gunshot wounds. This was an error, and it should hare read wounded only : Canterbury Battalion: Privates Milburn and Mullins. Otago Battalion: Privates Vincent, Ward, Willis, Roberts, and Ross. Auckland Battalion: Privates Smith Kitto, and McLeod. Received June 25, 9.15 a.m. SYDNEY, June 25. Privates Geo. Hooper and A. E. Hillier are reported as having been killed in action, and Private Turk wounded. All were New Zealanders. Sergt. Morgan, who was killed in action, was a well-known footballer, and played against the touring New Zealanders.
