♦ - - - WILL NOT RE-ENTER PUBLIC LIKE. . WELLINGTON, Tuesday. There has been a rumor current during the past week, says the Evening Post, that it was likely. Sir John Kindlay would be a candidate for Wellington North at the general election. Sir John Kindlay has received pressing requests to contest five constituencies, two in the Wellington district and three in other parts of the Dominion, but tinPost has authority for stating that Sir John has no intention of re-entering public life.
