♦ KILLED IN THE BUSH. CPer Press Association.) TAIHAPH, Tuesday. Late yesterday afternoon John Mcj Lees, aged 49, single, was killed while working in the bush log-haul-ing, the log breaking away off the truck and rolling over him. Death was instantaneous. CRUSHED BY A TRUCK. GISBORNE, Wednesday. Charles Ford, aged 33, single, was killed at Patuahi quarry yesterday, being crushed by a truck.
