Kawa Drainage Board.

(Own Correspondent.) A meeting of the above Board was held at Te Awamutu on Saturday last. There were present—Messrs C. Kay (chairman), J. Walsh, J. B. Teas dale, and J. B. Valder. CLERK'S RESIGNATION. The clerk to the Board resigned office. Applications for the position had been invited and Mr D. Bockett was appointed. WORKS IN PROGRESS.

It was decided to meet at Kawa on Monday forenoon for the purpose of inspecting the works in progress, the new clerk to be in attendance.
