The committee of the N.Z. Rugby Union had before it a resolution from the Wamgaaiuti. Union urging the meed of; lianpnoviing, the igjamff to compete with the Northern Union giolme, but the members showed igreat dfcsinclinatinn to tackle the subject, sheltering themselves behind the plea that the matter was cue for the Union as a whole. Finally they dismissed the sufbjeotl by pointing out that suggestions had already been sent to the English Union and the same adopted.
