THE MAXWELL CASE.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Yesterday. In the further charge of fraud under the Bankruptcy Act against Walter Maxwell who was extradited from West Australia, he was found guilty. Mr Justice Edwards passed sentence on this and the other charges of two years' imprisonment. He said that the evidence showed that accused's life had been devoted to an organised system of fraud.
