,—« FALSE EVIDENCE. SYDNEY. November 24. Two women were sentenced on * charges of obtaining goods by false pretences, and subsequently one made a statement that the other induced her to give false evidence in connection with a case in which the other woman was awarded £lO3 damages, and in a second involving a well-known doctor in connection with divorce proceedings.
