At tlie impiest concerning the death of James Gillies Mcllwraith, which occurred suddenly at the Rothertield Hotel on Friday evening, the medical evidence showed that was due to poisoning by prussic acid. A verdict was returned that the man died from poison administered. There was found oil the body of deceased a piece fif cyanide of potassium sullicient to kill five men, and the doctor said he did not think it was right that such poison could be purchased freely in photographic shops when restrictions were imposed in the case of sales of poisons at a chemist's shop. The coroner promised to communicatfl with headquarters on the subject.
