ADDINGTON STOCK MARKET. CHKIS ICHUfiCII, November 22. At the Addington live stock market to-day there were large entries of stock and a good attendance. Fat cattle were irregular of sale and prices were somewhat easier. Storo sheep sold very well, and, although a good ileal of business was done in fat lambs for export, prices were rather lower than last week owing to the heavy yarding. Fat sheep also deoliuod in value. Fat pigs brought about last week's rates, and stores were again in keen demand. Store and dairy cattle wore dull of sale. Store Bheep. — there was a fair yarding of tat sheep, and all claßtes met with a good sale, especially forward sheep and well - grown hoggets. Among the sales were: Woolly ewes and lambs, at 10s fid; woolly merino ewes, 9a; 250 two, four and six-tooth wethers, 17s fid; 100 woolly hoggets, lfis 3d : 350 shorn, 17s sd. Fat lambs, -'lhe entry of fat lam!s was a large one, about 1500 being penned, a considerable proportion not being well finished Several of the large export buyers were operating, and the prices they paid covered practically the whole range from the lowest to the highest, values all round be ing somewhat below last week's level Light lambs made 13s to 14s fid; prime, 15s to 18s; and a few extra heavy up to 18s lid.

Fat sheep.—There was an exceptionally large yarding of fat sheep, and several lots had to be accommodated in the store pens. There was a fair proportion ot prime ewes and wethers, but the bulk consisted ot unfinished wethers, aged ewes, t.nd merino wetners. There was not such a keen demand for export, and owing to

the easier tone in the London market the export buyers reduced their limits, and prices for wethers were fully Is per head below last week's prices, 'ihere was a i still greater decline in ewes, especially i towards the close of the sale, prices being i loner by li to Is 61, and in some ctses 2s, than last week. The range of prices wa« : Prima 6hom wethers, 19s to 23 >; extra, to •25s 3J; lighter, 17s 6d to lbs 'Js ; prime woolly wethers, 26s 3d; prime shorn ewes, 17sto2ls 01; extra, to 2U61; medium, lis to 16$ y1; aged, lis to 13s 6d; woolly ewe?, 21s to 23s 3d j extra, 20s lOd; shorn merino wethers, IDs 91 to 13s 3d. Fat cattle.—The entry of fat cattle totalled 231, the quality being mostly prime. Bidding was irregular, towards the end of the sale, anl pries were somewhat easier, fitters brought X'i 17s 61 to jEU 7s 0d ; heifers, £o 0s to Xd ; cows, XI 5s to XI 5s (equal to 22s 6d to 25s for prime and 20s to 22s for medium per 1001b). Veal calves made 7s 61 to lis. i-toro and dairy cattle.—There was a large yarding of store cattle, but few buyers were iu want of stock, and the sale was a very dull one Yearlings made 20a ; 15 to 18-months, 29s to 495; two-year steers, £2 lis to £2 15s; 2J-year steers, -63 15s; two-year heifers, jE2 8s 61; three-year be.fers, £i 9s 6d;

dry cows, 22s to j£3 ss. Lhiry cowe were in poor demand, and the best price was £7.

Pijjs —There was a fairly large entry of pigs and fats sold firmly at about last week's rates, Inconers made -t2a to 55- ( -qual to td to H i i; -r lb), and porkeis, 28s to 403 (equal to -ljd to Od per lb) Scores were brisk of sale at good prices, medium sorts making 25s to 30s ; 19s to 235; baconers, lt>s to 20 ; suckers, 'Js t) 12s.
