OBAUPO STOCK SALE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Compaoy, Ltd., report as follows : At their Ohaupo sale on Tuesday over 700 head of cattle were yarded, among them b-ing 150 grown steers from Te Akau and Hukanui, which sold at good prices ranging from £4 17s 6d to j£6 si. One draught from Te Awauiutu in forward condition made £6 ss. These were nice cattle. Yearling Bteers and 2-year-old heifers were in demand and all yarded sold. Dairy cows were dull of salv but several showing quality made up to i! 6 10a. Poor and backward sorts were quite negleoted. Yearling steers made XI 16s to £2 2s for really good ones. Two-year-old iteere sold at 18s; heifers the same age made i>2losto .£2 15s; fat oowi made £b 5b for well done sorts. We may .say that the yard was cleared at the hammer.
