Keoimmexh.vtioxs—The following resolutions were passed as recommendations to the general committee; (1) That the President of the Association b9 ex-officio, a member of all su'> committies set up ; (2) That a tinancial c mmittee he appointed to consist of three members including the President, to form a quorum with the following duties: (a) to go into the system of accounts with the secretary to see that they are kept in acci rdanca with the law and in as char and concise a manner as possible for insertion in the annual repjnt; (b) to pass all accounts b"f >re they are submitted to the executive committee for payment, and geuerally see that the requirements and conditions »re being complied with, (c). To discuss and report to the executive comuiitt o all matters in connection with the financial arrangements of the Association, (d), that a ground committee be appointed to consist of three members including the president, (e) that a schedule committee be appointed. Committees.—The following committees were appointed:—Finance : Messrs Hawkins and Farrer; g.ound: Hawkins and Bell; schelule: Waring and Gordon. —The ground committee was authorised to have U boatman's section surveyed. Golf Cli-b.—lt was resolved to write to the Golf Club agreeing to the terms for the use of the ground as agreed between Dr. Douglas and Mr Gordon.—No rent to be charged f>r the first year, £7> for the second and .£lO for the "third. A lease to be given for 5 years. This concluded the business.
