♦- THE BOMBAY CATTLE DISEASE

(Bt Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON. Last Night. Mr Gilruth, chief Government veterinarian, reports that the disease which has attacked cattle at Bombay, in the Aucklaud district, is true anthrax. The Agricultural Hepartiuent is ascertaining where the bonedust used for fertilising the land on which the cattle have been grazing came from. Several *' cargoes of bones have been imported from Sydney under the certificate of the New Zealand Government sterilising export in New South WaleF, but none have boon brought from India since the sterilising regulations came into force.
