ST. PETERSBURG, May 7. M. Goreinykin is gazetted Premier. The Czar issued a rescript on Saturday, thanking Count Witte, the ex-Premier, and acknowledging his energy and decision in thwarting the revolutionary movement. A man threw a bomb at Admiral Dubasoff, Chief of Police at Moscow,
The assailant was clad in a naval uniform and carried a forged passport.
The explosion was heard for miles. The bomb - thrower's head was blown off, and four others were killed.
It is officially stated that Admiral Dubasoff had a marvellous escape, though the Standard's Moscow correspondent learns that he was badly wounded in the leg, side and arm. The Constitutional Democratic leaders at St. Petersburg express gladness that the revolutionary atr tempt on the Admiral's life failed, but a minority of the party express exultation that the attempt was made, and regret that it was not successful.
Six unknown men, armed with revolvers, shot and killed General Jeoltanowski, Governor of Ekaterinoslav, and escaped.
